One thing is certain: we at Wait like to explore social platforms looking for new niche brands! Today we present you Vescovo.
Born in 2020, Vescovo is a brand born recently, but that already has a strong identity.
The personality that gave birth to the project is that of Antonio Podini, a young 26-year-old from Santa Sofia, a small town in the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines.

The background of Antonio Podini is really interesting: after graduating in engineering in Milan, he completed his studies with a Master in Sustainability, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Barcelona and Stocccolma.
What does your studies have to do with the world of fashion? Apparently little, but better never judge a book by the cover, or better… by the studies.
Antonio’s passion for fashion has accompanied him in his university years, during which he made the first garments for friends and family.
A passion that in short wanted to transform into a profession, creating a brand that was the explicit summary of its multidisciplinary background.

The Vescovo brand is genderless. Its minimal and traditional style is made original by a modern and streetwear touch.
A mix of Italian tailoring tradition and contemporary fashion. The lines are fluid, soft and oversized garments are designed for both men and women. The cut of the classic dresses is softened by the choice of neutral or pastel colors.
One component that makes Vescovo a brand to definitely keep an eye on is its focus on sustainability. Thanks to the designer’s background, the collections are created in a careful and conscious way.
The capsule collection Fall Winter 2020 “New Sincerity” is the new eclectic collection of Vescovo.
The simple and unisex garments want to celebrate Italian craftsmanship and the art of knitwear.
The undisputed protagonist is the white spotted horse Charly, icon of the brand, which was embroidered on the blue sweatshirt and gray wool vest.
The capsule reflects the principles of the brand of sustainable fashion and was made with fabrics that have GOTS certification(Global Organic Textile Standard) or have been recycled. The garments are available on the brand’s website.
