Il brand si chiama Veras, e nel sottobosco degli intenditori tutto le vogliono avere: gli store le vogliono avere in vetrina, i clienti ai piedi, i distributori in showroom. Non sono parole a caso. Se è il momento delle espadrillas e delle scarpe profilat in corda Veras è uno dei prodotti più attuali. Realizzate a mano in Spagna nella fabbriche tradizionali, sono disponibili in versione bassa e mid a polacchino e sono state recentemente pubblicate su Monocle, la bibbia di tutto ciò che oggi è figo. Il prezzo è poi di quelli che fanno decollare un prodotto già in se più che giusto: quelle che vedete partono dai 70 euro al pubblico. Oggi sono in un ristretto circolo di negozi top come Oi Polloi a Manchester e Number Six a Londra, Oliver Spencer a Toronto.
