In the most unusual period for this kind of thing (end of December) comes out one of the most interesting collaborations of recent times in terms of shoes. We are talking about that between Velasca, a italian brand of classic artisan footwear and Anvil Motociclette,, a italian brand linked to the world of custom bikes.
Velasca was founded in 2012 as a very successful start-up, which makes use of new media the web and online and social communication to launch a line of high quality made in Italy shoes with a Marche manufacturing, leaping intermediaries and being able to propose an uncompromising product at a decidedly competitive price.
Anvil, founded by Phonz (our old friend) and San Marco, is a brand that does not simply represent a customized motorbike brand but has become a true synonym of lifestyle.
These two worlds, only apparently distant, have discovered that they have many points in common starting from love for Made in Italy, for creativity and for the culture of ‘handmade’ and for good.
This is how Anvil designed this collection that manages in a truly admirable way to coherently combine the urban world with the wild one that flows in the DNA of the motorcycle brand.
The result is a unique collection that, ideally, is divided into two major themes: footwear with a more elegant touch, designed for the metropolis (Cheetah, Cuda and Triton models) and the more ‘wild‘ ones designed to be worn on a trip out door (maybe in motorbike) but also able not to disfigure (for nothing!) on a walk in the city (Pursang, Willys and Scout boots).
The 6 shoes run on various colors and are offered in a price range ranging from 195 of the Cuda low shoe, up to 260 for the Willys, Pursang, Triton and Cheetah boots. The collection is completed by the Commando accessory, a leather protection with adjustable strap to preserve shoes while riding in motion.
The shoes can be purchased exclusively online at the Velasca website.
