Fila is in the middle of its 110th anniversary. What could be the best way to celebrate if not a collaboration with the MSGM brand? The result seems to be a sparkling interpretation of tennis clothing: colorful and hyper feminine.
On the occasion of Roland Garros, which will be held in Paris from today 26 May until 13 June, Fila presents an unprecedented capsule collection approaching the metropolitan but cool and energetic spirit of a brand like MSGM. Massimo Giorgetti, its creative director, has decided to interpret tennis clothing and all the garments will be worn on the Paris court by Fila sponsored players such as Karolina Pliskova, Sofia Kenin, Reilly Opelka and Diego Schwartzman.
There comes a point where even for a brand known as Fila it is necessary to ‘rewind the tape’ and try to remix and update its items. What better way than a collaboration with a brand like MSGM? In fact, it was enough to simply draw from the old archives of the brand and rework everything with color and a pinch of irreverence. The game is done!


On the one hand Fila and the world of tennis which has always been part of its history and of which it has modified its silhouette and colors, on the other MSGM which, for a visual and creative contribution, takes up its typical language with floral prints, bright colors , ruffles and ruffles. What comes out is a brand new collection that includes miniskirts, shorts, polo shirts and t-shirts, halter-neck tops and tie-dye prints. And still ruffles, prints, embroideries and the mantra ” You are my match point ” which, according to Giorgetti, best summarizes the spirit of the collection. The colors of the capsule, the undisputed protagonists of this, vary from pink to purple, from white to black.
What better way then for Fila to close the circle and celebrate her anniversary. It is appropriate to say that, what had given fame to the brand long ago, today brings it once again to that tennis court to make match points!
