“Manifesto” is an hymn to Milan, to theater, to music, to fashion, to ‘culture’ that until a year ago animated Milan and made it alive, cosmopolitan and frenetic.

Massimo Giorgetti invites us into Teatro Manzoni’s rooms to reflect about the future of the city and on how exciting it will be to relive the past, but with more awareness, humanity and a greater respect for the environment. Future is tomorrow and there isn’t time to make mistakes. The designer asks himself about the future of fashion and chooses sustainable fabrics for his new collection, such as vinyl and latex and comfortable materials such as vegan leather, that makes the body free to move.

In the short film “Manifesto”, dancers and artists gather to experience the night “en reverse”, on the notes of Gea Politi’s song: “Milano it’s Futurism Zeitgeist, Contemporay quantum. Milan is no gender/all gender. Milan changes without changing. Milan today, Milan Tomorrow”.
Items are underground and dynamic; they are inspired by the 90s nightwear aesthetic. Fabrics like vinyl, sequins, lurex and taffetà are saturated with a block of fun colors such as bubblegum, mint green and shocking pink. Instead, there’s a touch of patent leather on trousers, nylon for jackets, netting or chenille for t-shirts. The best detail are the floral prints on all the knitwear made by the artist Alessandro Calabrese.
