“Rave like you are Five” Italian designer Alessandro Michele celebrates his five years as Gucci’s Creative Director and presents a man free of conventions and prejudices as a child at the fashion week.

The guests are seated on steps, very similar to school benches, the parade is held in a big sand arena in the centre a huge oscillating pendulum that marks the time.
The look of the show follows an evolution, the first more childish and a little messy, become more classic and composed, and then completely shake it out.

The Gucci FW 2020 collection is an invitation to “review and reconsider” masculinity through a return to childhood and adolescence.
We find shorts with knee socks, bad buttoned shirts, lunch bag, school briefcase and stained jeans of someone lying on the grass.

But the childhood presented by Gucci is not a carefree childhood but rather fought and in its own way“dark”. The childhood of those who tried to understand what was their place and purpose as suggested by both the monogram bag with the inscription “fake” on one side and “Not” on the other and the printed t-shirt “impatience”(impatience) and “impotence.”(impotence).
Alessandro Michele with this fashion show makes a leap in time deconstructing the classical idea of masculinity shown in his original way me there is not only a single way to be a man.
