The brand Gucci by Alessandro Michele comes back on the catwalk for Milano Moda Uomo, introducing an all-male collection.
The decision was announced by Carlo Capasa, president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda (CNMI), after his warm invitation to want to bring the brand back to the calendar of the fashion shows in January 2020 with a menswear-only collection. In fact, since 2017, Gucci presented a single show for its collections during the Women’s Fashion Week in Milan.
The highly anticipated Gucci show is now confirmed and will represent an occasion to celebrate Alessandro Michele‘s fifth anniversary as creative director. It will also add prestige and relevance to Made in Italy, which have an absolute importance for the fashion system.
For Capasa, the return of the Florentine brand is like a dream that comes true, even if it is not a permanent decision, and he takes the opportunity to give them a big thank you, wishing a big start of MFW 2020.
