Salvatore Vignola is a young Lucanian designer with an innate talent who launched the homonymous brand in 2016.
This year he participated in ALTAROMA with the SS21 collection called “MELINA”.
“Like Melina in her time, as a child I ventured among the stones and ruins of the Monastery of S. Maria dell’Aspro, contrary to the warnings of the elderly,” Be careful, don’t go there, Monachicchio lives there. ”
Monachicchio is the soul of a child who died before baptism. A mischievous, mischievous spirit, wearing a big red hat. Harmless jokes and nocturnal noises are its essence, but it is when the Monachicchio takes on the appearance of a white-coated dog that his yoke is even more disturbing: in a hypnotic, almost psychedelic state, he takes possession of your will. ”
The stories, the art and the land where he was born represent for Salvatore Vignola the basis on which he built the 16 incredible looks for the new season, ranging from the tight silhouettes of the petticoats to the wide volumes of the shirts, from silk to denim, from midnight blue to fiery red, all accompanied by wonderful jewels with a medieval flavor.
Here are all the looks of the collection:
