Great debut for Off White who has just presented its firstsunglasses collection!
After sharing the news on his Instagram profile, Off White informs us about his new project concerning the eyewear industry. A news awaited and desired by many so much that we thought it would never come, but fortunately Virgil Abloh was able to surprise us once again with this new and incredible complete collection of sunglasses, with avant-garde and genderless design.

The line is composed of several models: “Marfa” sunglasses, for example, take up the classic cat’s eye style with square frames, available in shades of pink, cream, black and spotted. This is followed by the “Alps” model, which features anoversized lens on a thick and robust base. An overall moreenveloping design, conceivedprecisely for a mountaincontext and proposed neutral colours such as black andslightly brighter colours suchas yellow and electric blue.

There are also vintage references, present in the “Manchester” model that looks to the 80s with inverted trapezoidal lenses and the “The Cape” model with the typical metal frame and oval lens of the 90s. The collection also includes previous models including: the characteristic “Virgil”shape, the rectangular “Arthur”silhouette, the enlarged “Tropez” frames and the “Cady” sunglasses with laser holes.
Finally, to give that extratouch is the branding offered in twovariants: a revisited and superimposed logo and the classic “Arrow” iconography with woven details of ivy.

Famous faces such as models Helena Christensen, JustineBiticon and Lil Dre highlight the whole line in thecampaigncreated by Tanya and Zhenya Posternak’s art lens. Ablohsays: “I chose Helena, Justine and Lil Drebecause eachrepresents different worldviews and perspectives, yet eachembodies everything I believe Off-White represents: creativity, perseverance, trust”
As for the price range on which the collection is based, it isbetween 200€ and 300€. According to what isreported onthe online site, the glasses are available for pre-order.
