It’s now historic the collaboration between the designer Bernhard Willehelm and Mykita, the Berlin eyewear brand. The octagon eccentric is the new entry in the collection. In the model URSULA the octagon, which in the past was used in very small size, has been completely changed in its proportions and enlarged twice. The bright colors and psychedelic mirror lens give these glasses an ’70s hippie look.
The other glasses are ERWIN, reminiscent of aviator glasses worn in the 70s dell’Highway Patrol agents in Los Angeles, mixed with the look of the Village People. The most pronounced of the frame is the teardrop shape of the lens over-emphasized.
