The designer Margaret Howell has released a capsule collection in collaboration with the Japanese brand Mizuno, consisting of 4 jackets and a pair of shoes.
What has led Margaret Howell to collaborate with Mizuno has surely been her strong interest in Japanese design and in her Japanese fans.
The union between the minimalistic design of the English brand and the refinement of the technical fabrics of the Asian brand of sports shoes has given life to a simple and functional capsule.
Although the line may seem unisex, the garments are divided into feminine and masculine, all in shades of navy blue almost tending to dark petrol green in the feminine ones.

Margaret Howell took care of the design of the four outerwear which are basically raincoats, one longer and more structured and one shorter and more youthful, whose technical fabric (a type of nylon) was instead developed by Mizuno.

To these is added a pair of total black shoes coated in GORE-TEX.

The collaboration between Margaret Howell and Mizuno has meant that the two brands make the most of their strengths and to demonstrate this they have also created a video that summarizes the journey made together.
The collection can be purchased on the official websites of Howell and Mizuno.
