God save the Fashion Week.
London is the city of the underground, of fish and chips, but also of a Fashion Week 2020 that left everyone speechless. Digital fashion shows did not prove to be a problem for designers’ creativity. Opening them was the iconic Burberry trench coat revisited with denim inserts, printed, painted and proposed with materials other than the classic one.

Freedom and reinterpretation are the words that sum up the British 2020 fashion shows in which everyone could be there even if at a distance. A Fashion Week that will be remembered for the evocative video shoots that combine history and streetwear.
Marrknull

Marrknull spring summer collection is in a windy atmosphere made of light and colorful clothes. About twenty Asian girls parade as if they came from a long party evening wearing voluminous asymmetrical shirts, varnished cocktail dresses and deconstructed trousers. The collection fully reflects the style of the unisex ready-to-wear brand from Beijing, founded by Wang Wei and Tim Shi, Marrknull, which has always interpreted traditional Chinese clothing by deconstructing and recomposing them in ever-changing ways.
Vivienne Westwood

The queen of British fashion has not gone unnoticed even this year and for Fashion Week 2020 it winks at the punks of the era of restoration. Loose looks and exaggerated proportions of puffy shirt collars put unisex style at the forefront. Fashion as a declaration of both aesthetic rebellion and anger at a world destroyed by greedy multinationals and ambiguous politicians.
“Buy less, dress up, exchange clothes…. Dress for that time of day or don’t dress for that time of day – wear evening dresses to the office if you go back to work, mix the seasons – our goal is to only show one collection per year, “explained Westwood..
LYPH
The 2020 fashion show from the British label LYPH is in abandoned and degraded British streets and industrial sites. Nylon parka with graphics, heavy neoprene jackets, ravers’ gear for all seasons and colorful disco dresses are the clothing for those who are boldly confident. Our next summer will certainly not be afraid of being daring or being judged too excessive.
