The iconic white sneaker is realized following principles of sustainability and low impact on the planet. Golden Goose presents “Sneaker Yatay Model 1B”, one of the first steps toward a conscious future to reduce waste.
In collaboration with Coronet, brand that produces synthetic leather, it is created an innovative bio-based leather called “Yatay TM 1B”, made of plant-origin materials, keeping a vey low impact on the environment. Even the sole of the shoes is biodegradable and hand made, giving each pair a touch of uniqueness.
The design of these sneakers is characterized by a simple and clean silhouette…it’s the sustainable version of the timeless white pair of sneakers, must have for everybody’s wardrobe. The sleek design makes it perfect for every occasion, giving a casual touch even to a fancy look.
Let’s focus on one important detail: the code at the back of the left shoe. In fact, it is linked to a project that aims to plant new trees in the Golden Forest. If you scan the QR code on the packaging, you can monitor your tree and the levels of carbon dioxide it absorbs.
This is only one step to introduce sustainability and transparency into the fashion industry, but the future is made of small actions repeated every day, right?
