Gentle Monster, the South Korean brand of sunglasses and eyeglasses founded by Hankook Kim in 2011, is back with a colorful and futuristic line-up for its new collection, “13”.
Using the same “title” of the next audiovisual collaborative project – involving the likes of Kanye West, Malik Yusef, Pharrell Williams and others -, the new eyewear collection of the Seoul brand respects the theme of the brand’s annual campaign, which this year is the “thirteenth month”, and is characterized by a theme of imbalance and abnormality that makes it unique and decidedly “unconventional”.
The new collection remains faithful to the brand’s reputation thanks to a variety of extravagant and casual designs that effortlessly combine a retro and bold style in a modern way. Some interesting models are undoubtedly the “Vic” with crescent lenses, the “Cold” model, enriched by vibrant neon orange dots on translucent frames, and the “Flip-up”, with a subtle and retro-future silhouette.
