#FashionNews Giorgio Armani wins the La Moda Veste la Pace award.
Giorgio Armani the King of Fashion. Defying Armani only as a stylist always seems to me reductive.
I like to think of this fashion pillar as a Fashion Gentleman with solid and pure principles. In this period of uncertainties, he did not hesitate even a second to demonstrate to the world of fashion, and beyond, a conscientious and respectful behavior towards others. The choice to walk behind closed doors during the Milan Fashion Week in February was only the first of many decisions that confirmed Armani’s conscientious and brilliant soul.
After a total donation of 2 million euros between hospitals and civil protection, Armani has also decided to convert all Italian production to help the production of clothes in the Coronavirus emergency.

Giorgio also wins the La Moda Veste la Pace prize of the World Congress of Fashion and Design, sponsored by the European Parliament and organized by African Fashion Gate.
We are talking about a fashion house that designs a path that can involve many areas. From the creation and production of pret-a-portér garments, couture; from perfumes to offer solutions for home furnishings. A reality that, from the production of children’s clothes, comes to give its name to luxury restaurants and hotels in the heart of Milan and Dubai.
Today Armani wins the Fashion Equality and Inclusion award. 2020. A year that certainly has not started in the easiest of ways. However, in this critical year for all, those who reacted with strength and courage won. Who has not given up and proposed sustainable alternatives with the circumstances that we have lived and that we are still living in part.
Although the sixth edition of the World Congress of Fashion and Design has been postponed due to Covid, the African Fashion Gate APS-ETS committee, organizer of the event, has also selected for this 2020 names that have distinguished themselves to which to confer the prestigious awards.
The congress, hosted every year in Brussels at the headquarters of the European Parliament, is a reason for discussion on the theme of discrimination in the world of fashion, the arts, entertainment and sport.

This year we find the name of Giorgio Armani, a symbol of Italian fashion in the world, as award recipients of La Moda Veste la Pace. The courageous attention shown to safeguarding and respecting the environment and the animal world, but above all for its commitment to more sustainable fashion.
If a giant like Giorgio Armani makes sustainability normal and not a trend with which everyone temporarily fills their mouths, then there is hope that the fashion system can really only change for the better.
