Evisu and Sfera Ebbasta join forces for the first time in the launch of a streetwear capsule collection. The hip hop style that has always characterized the trapper blends with the iconic pieces of the brand’s archive. The collaboration was created by the designer Ernesto Avenia, who worked closely with the artist to reinvent Evisu denim in order to create a fresh, dynamic and modern collection.
The drop coming out today was curated by Tomorrow Projects, which selected some important retailers.
One of them is our partner Banana Moon, founded in Bari in 1978, with the aim of pushing and spreading the Underground Culture through not only their products, but also through music, performances and events. This has meant that to date their reality is established to become a real main point of aggregation for the young Bari movida.
Banana Moon offers the best of the world streetwear scene, becoming a lighthouse and landmark in Italy, thanks to the proposals characterized by a mix of historic and innovative brands and the opportunity as in this case, to be able to host high-level collaborations.
Sfera and Ernesto Avenia have dug into the historical archive of the brand, reworking the highly recognizable aesthetic of Evisu thanks to the fusion of iconic elements of the 90s with notes of the millennial style of Sfera. Thus, the classic elements of the brand, such as the world-famous seagull logo and the artistic denim garments, create the basis to this collection.
The designer’s vision regarding the creation of this line is extremely clear: “Sfera and I studied the history of Evisu together and took it from there – we combined the style and brand of Sfera with those of Evisu and we arrived at a collection that is truly differentiated on the market“.
As the rapper explained: “I definitely like to bring all my creativity into any project I’m involved in – and for this collaboration with Evisu it went even deeper as I’ve always dreamed of buying their boy jeans”.
