The Bottega Veneta designer will leave the house after holding the role of creative director for three years.
The official announcement published by the Kering group, of which the fashion house is a part, was truly unexpected. Just three weeks ago Bottega Veneta amazed its fans with the fashion show held in Detroit, wanted by Daniel himself. And now the news of his whitdraw.
In just three years, Daniel Lee brought a breath of fresh air to the Italian brand, relaunching some of the historical elements of Bottega Veneta, first of all the green Bottega.

The British designer has also launched new elements of the brand such as black leather boots with colored track soles, which have become a real must for influencers and celebrities.

The reasons for the breakup between Daniel Lee and Bottega Veneta are not yet clear.
The official greetings from the CEO of Kering were very warm towards Daniel, in fact François-Henri Pinault said he was very grateful to the designer for the passion, energy and modernity brought to the brand. Lee also proved grateful to the maison by declaring that he had an incredible experience alongside an exceptional team.
What direction will the designer take? What will be the next maison you will collaborate with?
