“I’m lying on a hospital bed. They are making a puncture that colored my cornea, my veins pulsating hard, I seem to see them in front. I feel so bad”. No, this quotation, vision, is not a beatnik story, not even a contemporary interpretation of Sartre’s Nausea. It is rather one of the inspirational dreams that made t-shirts from the Bucobiancodreams collection signed by Bucobianco for this summer.
The transfiguration of the dream world, conceived by Barbara Branciforti and Giacomo Nee, became reality two years ago when they entered the fashion world, emphasizing the aesthetic detail of creativity, thus breaking the scheme of the system. To think about it, this path is the same as dreams: they intervene unpredictable in the linearity of the silent and monotonous motion of sleep.
What opens in the eyes of the spectator is a rainbow of lit colors, live prints depicting culinary, humanized and natural elements. All taken from the unconscious night-time activities of the unknown muses that have lent to this creative game. As the number twenty, the only in black and white, sees the sea and the strength of its infinite glance: “I sit on the rocks and see the sea at night, I ask not to look at me. Its face is everywhere.” Or the seventeen: “I’m at the zoo, but there are animals I’ve never seen. I sit in front of a bird who has a puppy in its belly, I can not figure out whether a man or a cat, it moves very slowly, it doesn’t notice me”.
With this further test, Bucobianco reconfirms itself so rebellious in a fashion scene increasingly blackened, liquid.
