When you hear about Birkenstock you immediately think of the sandal most worn in the summer or the padded sabots that warm us in winter.
Today, however, the German brand, which is part of the French group LVMH, is taking new paths by entering the world of sneakers.

In fact, the brand will soon launch the Honnef, a closed shoe that is very simple for now that incorporates some fundamental traits of Birkenstock.
First of all, it has the classic cork sole supported by the breathable Deep Blue footbed. The shoe upper is entirely in solid color leather and suede; it comes in four different colors, namely black, antique pink, camel and brown. The brown version varies from the other three, taking the form of an ankle boot that rises to the ankle with a quilted wool part.
The Birkenstock Honnef is functional and of quality, sober and essential. It keeps alive the values that the Birkenstock brand has represented so far.
You can buy the Birkenstock Honnef on the official Birkenstock website.
