Martine Rose has decided to present her latest S/S 21 collection with a not indifferent virtual experience…
The British designer, with the International Magic, has created “What We Do All Day”, a digital space that represents a block-apartments that opens to the public to reveal some films shot in the homes of ordinary people around the world. In that block they live in their intimacy an ordinary day of quarantine, between moments of boredom, fun, but also solitude.
Isabella Bush, the casting director of the project told: “We chose characters who were in tune with themselves, capable of being safe and vulnerable at the same time. And also some idols we had been dreaming of working with for a while, but hadn’t had the opportunity to do so, due to the location. ”
In fact, unexpectedly, a guest of honor emerged from the people being filmed: Drake, while recording in his private studio.
The project revealed, also, minute by minute, all the new garments and accessories from the new collection, including: acid-washed hoodies, redesigned soccer socks and kicking shirts, square toe moccasins and tie-dye trousers.
