We know, you love them. You always wanted to go up, but… you never found one. Indeed, it is difficult to find them, especially if the expectations inside our head dream of one in cartoon or tumblr style, with lights, furry rugs on the ground and many, many pillows. For our ‘weekend in nature‘ column, in which we are committed to thinking only about holidays and how to transform 48 hours into a romantic getaway full of fun, this week we offer you just them: the tree houses of our dreams.
Bellavista Tuscany Tree House:
Close to Orbetello, this tree house will give you the opportunity to take a trip to the Argentario. It is built on cork trees, five meters high: what a breathtaking view!
Agriturismo La Piantata:
This farmhouse in Viterbo gives customers the opportunity to stay overnight in two suites ‘in the clouds’. Of respectively 44 and 87 square meters, these houses are perfect for spending a night outside the box.
Casa Barthel:
It takes its name from the designer who conceived it, Riccardo Barthel. The house is located just outside the picturesque and evocative city of Florence. It will not be difficult to reach it and take a tour of the ancient villages and taverns in the center. For lunch, don’t forget to taste a good Florentine tripe!
Tree Village:
On the Friulian Dolomites there is this real village of houses among the trees. Among the largest in the world, the village offers various outdoor activities (here are still some excellent activities that are good for the planet!): From mountain biking, to e-biking and Nordic walking.
Caravan Park Sexten:
At 3 meters, in the trees, the campsite offers rustic and cozy cottages. The style is typical of Trentino Alto Adige: wood, warm blankets and comfort to fight the winter. It will be possible to find a sauna and whirlpool inside, so as not to give up anything. Not even at 3.5 meters in height.
