“WE JUST DID IT, ROSALIA”: Nike Air Force 1 Espadrille, Nike and Spanish singer Rosalia's new collaboration?

Nike Air Force 1 Espadrille, a mystery to “sneakers world’s” lovers and followers. The Spanish singer and trendsetter Rosalia, on April the 14th, posted on the social network Instagram different photos and a video, where she has maybe spoiled a new collaboration with the brand Nike.

In the first post’s video on ‘rosalia.vt’, the Spanish singer is lacing up a new Air Force 1 with long ribbon-like laces, but we can also notice some sneakers’ characteristics, particularities, and also guess the inspiration behind it.

The visible hand-stitches as details all around the midsole and the shoe’s canvas structure relate to the famous sandals “Espadrille”. Their different versions are represented in the next post’s photos and are also worn by surrealist artist Salvador Dalì.

Why those new Air Force 1, created for the Spanish singer Rosalia, are ‘Espadrille’’s reinterpretation?

Both Rosalia’s birthplace and Espadrille’s origin place are located in the Spanish region Catalonia, where’s also from the painter Salvador Dalì.
