The path of glory continues for Colmar, a historic brand (I would say legendary), which even founded in 1923 and exploded over the 50-90 years, today, in 2019, is becoming increasingly fashionable, desired, current.
For several years the brand has seen a real renaissance that today has become a consecration, with a success tied to a work of premium positioning, accompanied by appealing, well-designed, never dull, top quality products
A continuous evolution that we also find in this collection exhibited at Pitti.
The collection becomes more and more important: not only focused on jackets but a real total look, where each piece is not thought of as a simple ‘filling’ but with coherence and inspiration.
Of course, the highlight is the jackets, which in this round are filled with technical details, such as pockets, carabiners and the eye to the most advanced streetwear that in turn was able to draw and rethink workwear.
But faced with a spring-summer collection (the one exhibited at Pitti was for the p-e 2020) the jackets cannot be the only strong element.
In this regard, the sneakers collection is becoming increasingly important. Grown up in recent seasons by playing captivatingly with the Colmar logo and vintage-inspired colors and retro-running touches, today it has become truly mammoth.
We have sneakers designed just for women, only for men, unisex, where the details and the care of the materials seem to us more and more taken care of and evolved. The sneakers today embrace very different styles: ranging from super-clean models to casual looks, to hyper-built sneakers with futuristic inspirations and decidedly urbanwear, to models where the fashion connotation is very strong.
