I had already known and touched with my hands the Italian brand Big Uncle, founded in 2011 by Riccardo Moroni and Sabino Lebba, within important department stores such as Excelsior in Milan.
So I did not miss the opportunity to discover the new collection, which was exhibited at Pitti.
The brand confirms my very positive impression: a contemporary look that is able to tap into the past with full hands and reinterpret the garments in a modern way. The result is a timeless, sober, yet original look, in cuts and details. And of great quality.
The collection is mainly played on the colors of beige and sand and the strong piece is the blue suede jacket, lined with contrast bandana fabric, which is also available in other colors and at the time also in a limited edition reserved to Antonia, already available to the public in store and online.
We find again vintage style sweaters with a double V on the chest, trench coats, pied-de-poule motifs.
A brand that is constantly growing, to keep an eye on.
