Last month after the launch of GEL-KAYANO 27 LTX sneaker, the duo Vivienne Westwood and Asics does not hesitate to present us the new model GEL-KAYANO 27 DE.
It’s the third year that we see the two brands collaborating, and, on the occasion of this milestone, Vivienne Westwood and Asics decide to launch the new GEL-KAYANO 27 DE shoe with a video campaign created by director and choreographer Holly Blakey. The campaign, which is intended to be a sequel to the film made for the launch of the GEL-KAYANO 27 LTX, was partially unveiled on Vivienne Westwood’s instagram profile but will only officially come out on May 1st.

GEL-KAYANO is a shoe designed, since its inception in the 90s, to be a comfortable sneaker with high technical performance. Also in this case, as for GEL-KAYANO 27 LTX launched in March, GEL-KAYANO 27 DE sneaker does not lack durability, functionality, comfort and design innovation. The material is utilitarian: the upper is made of ripstop fabric, traditionally used by the military for its strength and durability.
The well-known English griffe that has made punk style its distinctive feature and the venerable Japanese brand of running and sports shoes merge thus giving life to a sneaker with a material and deconstructed design, proposing two different bold colors White/Lichen Rock and Liche Green/Brown.
The running sneaker will soon be available at viviennewestwood.com and asics.com, in their respective stores and at selected retailers.
