Colors, disco balls and full freedom of expression. June is around the corner and fashion, like every year, lets itself go to Pride Month, abandoning the usual patterns to make room for party, pride and the absence of rules.
There are many brands that have already announced that they want to take an active part in the month dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, we have mentioned a few HERE, where we have also explored a bit of the history of Pride Month, in case you are interested in reading more on the subject.
Among the brands already mentioned, UGG is now added and, in collaboration with the Pacific Pride Foundation, organizes a virtual event to support the LGBTQ + community by reinventing the end of the year party of the Prom in an extremely Proud version.
On the other hand, in the United States with the end of school, June, in addition to being the Pride month, also represents the Graduation Season, therefore the famous prom.

Even Netflix this year was inspired by the prom to celebrate the LGBTQ + community by launching, a few months ago, a film entitled Prom, indeed, which sees a queer girl approaching the extremely traditional and binary idea of the school dance made for couples. With an exceptional cast including Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman, the film certainly opened the ball to the Graduation Season-Pride Month association.
The UGG capsule is therefore a celebration of the true essence in a school dance guise. The campaign stars singer Lil Nas X, actoress Hari Nel and many other prominent figures for the LGBTQ+ community who show off rainbow and super-accessorized looks, including glitter and balloons.

The garments proposed in the no-gender collection have vibrant tones, textures and layers as their leitmotif. With a range of products going from footwear, to t-shirts, to sweatshirts, in sizes for adults, teenagers and children.
The most statement pieces? A sweatshirt entirely covered in sequins with the word “PRIDE” embossed on the front and the iconic Disco Stripe, the furry platform slides.
For every pair of Disco Stripe purchased, UGG will donate $ 25 to GLAAD, an association that fights for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community around the world.
