Travis Scott signs the new Air Jordan 6, with a matching capsule collection!

The artistic marriage between Travis Scott and Jordan Brand continues with the official launch of a new capsule collection in pendant with the new model: Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki”!

In addition to being one of the most influential rappers on the international music scene, Travis Scott is now a status symbol of the new generations. Visionary, anticipator of trends; is undoubtedly the most idolized and imitated character by teenagers today. The emblem of the rapper-entrepreneur who over time has been able to create a real merchandising around himself. A winning bet especially in the eyes of the colossus Jordan who seems to appreciate more and more the collaborative skills of the well-known singer.

The new object of the collaboration as well as the new object of desire for the most avid fans is, therefore, the Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki ”. As the name suggests, the coloring that decorates the entire suede upper is based on earthy shades such as light beige. To revive the monochrome, Infrared accents on the heel color the logo “Cactus Jack” accompanied by the words “Nike Air ”. Additional details such as the mini-cargo pockets placed on the sides of the ankle and the translucent sole from which appears the Cactus Jack Face (symbol of the artist) complete the silhouette of this sneaker.

At the price of 249€, the sneaker will be released on April 30th on the official Nike website, in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Air Jordan 6.

But the news doesn’t end there. The rapper has, in fact, thought well not to dwell on the individual shoe but to surprise everyone with a capsule collection with which the public can enjoy recreating a perfect streetwear look. Drawing from the world of motocross, the line appears to consist of clothing, accessories and lifestyle items. The rugby-style “Cactus Cross” shirts and printed “Performance Pants” stand out, accompanied by workwear jackets, hoodies and t-shirts.

With regard to accessories: of course there are hats, from bucketed safari-style hats to classic hats; as well as backpacks and satchels, cotton socks and gloves, and a braided cord bracelet. All elements that together describe the image of an avant-garde motorcyclist, ready to race somewhere wild and remote. A capsule that, like the Air Jordan 6, recalls the warm shades of the desert with some hints of red access.

But the colorful hint emerges especially in the graphics like Dune Runner reminiscent of the fast monsters of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, and even readapted for the occasion into a rug with a lot of tongue and exaggerated eyes. Doormats, wrapping tape and a personalized Power Bank are the items you wouldn’t expect and that will certainly give the whole collection an extra spin.
