TikTok officially establishes its link with fashion, kicking off a real Fashion Month.

On the occasion of the Fashion Week 2020, many brands had to strive to show their collections, evaluating every possible way to present their products.
And in a time when being connected with your customers is essential, there is no better platform than TikTok to present new creations; the social video sharing increasingly popular among young people, in fact, had already been used by brands such as Gucci to share their advertising campaigns.
This is how CeCe Vu, TikTok‘s Fashion Content Partnerships Lead, announced the #TikTokFashionMonth:
“We’ve seen the fashion industry reinvent what luxury fashion means to culture and society through TikTok by bringing fashion into the homes of our community during quarantine. With the launch of our TikTok Fashion Month, this is just another way to leverage the platform’s authentic and community-driven approach to showcase their art, creativity and personalities in a unique and truly TikTok way.”

The event, which will last throughout the month of September until 8 October, will accompany the calendar of Fashion Weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
During this period, the TikTok community will be able to watch live streams of some of the fashion shows of the most famous brands, including Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Celine and JW Anderson.
The initiative will end with an event presented by singer Nick Tangorra: a fashion show designed exclusively for the platform, in which influencers and content creators will wear Puma and Alice + Olivia products. Furthermore, capsule collections will be made available exclusively through the app.
We just have to wait for the first fashion shows and keep an eye on all the most interesting looks for next season!
