THE AMERICAN BRAND LAUNCHES THE OUTDOOR LINE FROM STREET TO SUMMIT
From the road to the top. From street to summit. It is the name of the Under Armour outdoor line. The autumn-winter 2019 season of the American company is a dedication to the most demanding active community, who ask three things to sportswear brands: high performance, comfort and aesthetics. And judging the collection, it seems that the triptych is in perfect balance.
In fact, the concept behind the collection combines the Under Armour know-how «on performance clothing with stylish elements for a complete collection from head to toe: the UA Valsetz Trek and outdoor clothing are made with Polartec technology ® Micro.» They explain from the company.
In addition, the collection is the first drop of Under Armour’s Street to Summit capsule collection of footwear and clothing for men and women for winter 2019. For such a special occasion, the brand has collaborated with the Marathon runner Chase Carter, a native of the Bahamas and grew up running in the streets of Nassau, to design the look of the line suitable for any environmental condition.
THE COLLECTION, FOR HER AND FOR HIM: THE MUST-HAVE PIECES
The Under Armour outdoor line consists of several key pieces. In fact it has«elegant bodysuits, tactical vests, woven jackets and fleece trousers. Polartec® micro-fleece technology is made from 100% post-consumer recycled material. The structure creates thermal air pockets to retain heat without sacrificing breathability. These durable, breathable, hydrophobic and fast-drying pieces help athletes overcome any challenge.» They continue.
For the man, instead, «the capsule proposes woven jackets, a vest, hooded sweatshirts, a 2-in-1 t-shirt, shorts and trousers. For the woman, the collection includes embroidered jackets, full zip, mock neck, a body, fleece pants and a braided shorts.»
