Finally, you can buy online the collection Spring-Summer 2020 for men.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. They taught us that when we were kids, and it seems like a good starting point to appreciate the style of VETEMENTS.

The collection itself is a bit of a big joke to the whole fashion system, why? For many reasons, from the choice of location to the printing press, everything takes a mocking tone towards modern capitalism.

The brand has always tried to give a new meaning to the term “casual” the same brand does not mean anything but “clothes”, expensive, but still clothes.

The question arises: can one criticize the system harshly and at the same time be part of it? Impossible to give an answer, meanwhile Demna Gvasalia continues to leave its mark mixing fashion and satire.
Models paraded in the largest Mac Donalds in Paris and the show’s “menu” was printed on paper napkins.

Among the items you can buy, we find T-shirts, jackets, overalls, sweatshirts, jeans and shirts, all fairly generic clothing.

Its distinguishing features are the phrases printed on each one: “FOR RENT” “Hello, I am CAPITALISM Hello” “I Am the Piece of Paper That Controls Your Entire Life” “Böse” (which in German means hungry) as well as the distorted use of the logos of other famous brands.

“FOR RENT” on baseball hats and the back of t-shirts refers to all of us young people as nothing but brain to rent, who would do anything to find a job.

Normal people with a normal job, policemen, and employees are represented in a disheveled version at times disturbing.

It was a choice of the designer, who said he loved the uniforms of the Russian police and wanted to create a kind of VETEMENTS uniform, which was a caricature of the original.
