
Francesco Ragazzi tells the story of the new collection with a return to print.
It’s not the first time that the founder chose a book, since in 2014 with the Rizzoli publishing house he published a photographic volume, with a preface written by Pharrell Williams.
Choosing a book for the brand therefore means going back to the origins, to that narrative of American subcultures and young people on skateboards between Venice and Manhattan Beaches. An important and symbolic step also for the period we are living, so uncertain and intangible, to which Ragazzi responds with the printed word like the most indissoluble format in communication.

“I think a book shows the path we are taking as a brand. We have lived the last 6 months immersed in a digital dimension and I believe that what we are starting to miss are emotions. I have the impression that things happen and then disappear immediately. That’s why I want to create something tangible, something to hold in your hands and place on your table to be leafed through again and again, whenever you want” said Francesco Ragazzi.
The volume will be available in a limited edition, including contents as lookbook, moodboard, and unpublished images. Among the photographic works, the names of David Sims, Rosie Marks and the stylist Karl Templer emerge. In addition, the book will celebrate the release of the Men’s and Women’s 2021 collections divided into 3 acts: Military, out this month, Fishing Club out in March, and Exodus in May.
