The Hill-Side is a young brand based in Brooklyn, founded in 2009 by Emil and Sandy Corsillo. Since then, the two brothers have made ties, scarves and clutches in their New York City, with a view to aim higher as soon as possible. So, at the entrance of the new season, they decided to personalize casual shoe most used when good weather prevails: the Chuck Taylor by All Star. To give their touch they went to Japan, to entrust the implementation of uppers in a historic local shop. The fabrics used are from expert weavers in the land of the rising sun, a choice that has allowed us to make use of the experience of these workers and high quality fabrics with a vintage flavor and taste typically Jappo.
