“The Undoing” is the thriller TV series of the moment, and we have carefully studied all the looks of the protagonist Grace.
The TV series is currently airing on Sky Atlantic and streaming on Now TV, and protagonists are two great actors: Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. She is a successful psychotherapist and a woman from the Upper East Side, he is a rich and famous New York oncologist. In short, a family apparently perfect, and suddenly involved in multiple family dramas, absolutely unexpected, as well as incredible.
Having said that, let’s get to the questions that we fashion lovers are most interested in… who is the stylist of “The Undoing”? And, above all, who are the designers who designed the coats worn by Nicole Kidman?
So, now we want to reveal you everything.
Grace Fraser’s looks were designed by a successful Danish costume designer and her name is Signe Sejilund, who studied Grace’s identity very carefully, creating harmonious, but above all symbolic looks, mixing Kidman’s somatic features with textures of the leaders, and all this without missing a beat.
But let’s see together the four looks of the protagonist, with the coat at the forefront, that’s a real trend of the Autumn-Winter 20/21 season, exclusively long or below the knee, slim and with an elegant cut.
The highlight of these looks is the color palette chosen by the stylist, which ranges from bright red to shades of green and beige. First of all, the long lime green astrakhan-effect coat with hood emerges. An ‘edgy’ item, loved and criticized by the public, chic, but that catches a lot of attention… and that’s why we like it. The maxi coat is paired with a floral pashmina and purple boots with a golden round heel. Also very elegant is the embroidered boho-chic maxi cardigan (probably by The Row), in neutral tones of sage green and powder pink.
Then there is the red velvet coat, a classic model from the Max Mara line and the vintage 70s coat by Philip Lim, again in burgundy, austere and with an enveloping fabric.
