Rokh represents a simple and spontaneous way to express through timeless garments.
The womenswear brand catch the individual uniqueness through an imperfect attitude that translates the today’s youth, enriched by artistic, musical and photographic references.
The brand was founded in 2016 in London by the korean designer Rok Hwang, which boasts a background of working experiences alongside the best of the sector. In fact, after graduating at the prestigious Central Saint Martins and after winning in 2018 the LVMH Prize Special Prize, he worked for renowned maison like Céline by Phoebe Philo, Chloé and Louis Vuitton.
The Rokh‘s ready-to-wear collections are based on contrasts: masculine but feminine, deconstructed but refined, classic but fashionable.
The brand philosophy is to give a new value to the image: the style has to express themselves.
With the spring summer 2020 collection, Rok Hwang represented the new yorker fashion during the 90’s, seen and interpreted through his eyes.
We can just be fascinated by the numerous deconstructed trench showed at the Paris fashion week, in which beige and black tones are masters, alternating by grunge looks with tartan prints, proposed in various shades of colors.
The accessories, in particular, caught the attention. Among the many leather bags alternated with skateboards, we report the oversized canvas bag, an eco shopping bag with washing symbols on the front. Surely the most instagrammable piece of the collection.
Who doesn’t need a bag like this?
