Stüssy aims to capture outsiders with a collection designed for all those who do not recognize themselves in the limits of a single lifestyle or a single way of dressing.
The Californian brand has decided to take its distinctive traits to the extreme, or rather to break them. Hence the idea of experimenting and proposing a real mashup of styles that contaminate shirts, sweatshirts and jackets, to change according to the mood.

Individual style
At the core of Stüssy spring collection there are precisely those iconic pieces of the American style. From checkered shirts in pure “old school” skater style to the most contemporary and bold models that wink at the anime universe. The influence comes from traditional kimonos, but the prints are from a Japanese cartoon. That mix of colors and almost unreal fantasies that explode in the series “Cloud and Birds“. But even the sweatshirts are strong, perhaps one of the most strictly “stars and stripes” items, in addition to shirts. The comfortable garment is classic, monochrome, or in a Tie-Dye effect or even in velvet, a true symbol of American taste, strongly coming back from the ’80s and’ 90s.

Stüssy Spring 2018
The feeling you get observing this collection is to enter an American fast-food chain, or an old-fashioned bowling alley, where the only uniform recalls the style of the ’50s. But you just turn the corner to find yourslef in Venice Beach, one of the most famous skaters’ park in California. After all, it is in the sunny American state, precisely in Orange County, that Stüssy finds its roots. A brand that benefited from the the trend of surfwear, and then divert to a more urban environment and the hip-hop scene. We clearly understand how this collection embodies the multifaceted identity of the brand to the fullest; as a matter of fact, it brings it to the maximum limits, without disappointing expectations.

Stüssy Spring 18
You can be anyone, every day different and free to choose, without being pigeonholed. This is the Stüssy philosophy.
