Colombara, a love for luxury that lasts since 60 years.

Since he was a teenager, Sergio Colombara had a strong business acumen, a quality inherited from his father Vittorio, an export company trader, so passionate about his work that he transmitted to his children, all the dedication, the sacrifice and the love for the commerce.

Sergio, a long-time lover of the footwear industry, soon realizes to have the ability to understand people’s tastes and needs, but also to anticipate current trends.

And here it is in 1955, together with his wife Renata, Sergio decides to put these skills into practice by starting a career as a merchant starting in local markets.
Since the beginning, their ability is fully appreciated and this leads them to take the big step.

In 1960, in fact, the couple opened their first Colombara store in Verbania and, in just 10 years, they achieved success by becoming the luxury benchmark for the entire territory.

As happened to Sergio, also his children inherited his passion for the commerce and since childhood they used to help in the store which, over the years, following a demand increase and the arrival of new brands, sees an expansion with the addition of square meters, windows and more collaborators.

Over the years Colombara has become much more than a shoe store and today, the company is totally entrusted by the new generation which however, does not forget its roots and the selection criteria are exactly the same as in 1960: quality, exclusivity, professionalism.
