VANS INTRODUCES THE STACKED COLLECTION REINVENTING TWO ICONIC MODELS
Stacked by Vans is the new collection of the American brand. However, the new word does not exclude history. That past necessary so that a prosperous future can exist, oriented towards new discoveries and stimuli. That’s why the company decided to inaugurate another path, using two key pieces of its heritage: the Classic Era, reinventing it, and the Sk8-Hi, defining a new design.
Available in the flag-ship stores and online since mid-June 2019, the models are renewed as follows: «the Era, launches the three-piece collection and uses the original multi-panel construction with uppers in cotton canvas available in two color variants. The first shoe is characterized by a reinforced platform structure; the black & white shade sees an oversized checkerboard bumper under the heel and a translucent sole with a rubber coating that wraps around the toe. A second model from the Era is characterized by a two-tone purple and black upper with a transparent and translucent aquamarine sole accentuated by an oversized bumper.»They explain from Vans.
And the Sk8-Hi? «The Sk8-Hi shoe is instead designed by choosing a more contemporary version, an aqua green side stripe decorates the two-tone upper, the upper part is finished with a translucent aquamarine ribbon, the sole is characterized by the traditional raw rubber while the tip is glittered and the shocking pink heel.»
NOT JUST COLORS: IT’S PLATFORM MANIA
Lately there are many sports brands that make colorful sneakers. And then, in order not to be confused among the many, we must add another element. Stacked by Vans chose the wedge. In fact, all the models are distinguished by an exaggerated sole and a translucent foxing ribbon. The reason? To give «a bold and original interpretation by including this collection in the current sneaker trend in the fashion industry.»
