With our realities: Wait Fashion and SHOPenauer we set out to give life to increasingly articulated collaborations with Influencers and opinion leaders linked to the world of fashion, art and creativity in general.
S.O.S on SHOPenuaer means ‘Selected on SHOPenauer’, ‘selected’ people who in turn play to create their own ‘selection’ of products on our App.
What we are looking for today are prominent personalities, who, beyond beauty and taste in dressing, who know how to strike us with their personality, their creativity, their ideas and their being ‘out of the box’.
We found all this in Silvia Caroline Schirinzi, a young woman of uncommon depth capable of going from writing books, to collaborating with magazines, to photographs where she always appears in a way that is anything but banal.
This is why we wanted to start a collaboration where the first step passes from knowing her better on Wait, and making her known to our audience of readers, with this interview and then playing with photography on her personal SHOPenauer profile where Silvia can express her tastes in looks and wishlists.

But here we are with the questions!
Hi Silvia! It is wonderful to meet such an eclectic, ambitious and multifaceted girl.
So multifaceted that it is difficult to give a definition of you …so we leave the task to you: how do you define yourself?
I define myself as a person of a little bit of everything. I model myself on what interests me, on what catches my attention and curiosity by making a particular situation mine.
I have always been a child, a girl and then a very curious woman about life, I have never set limits but always prepared many goals and ambitions.
Tell us how your path has evolved … if you started from writing or from photography and images on social media. I know you have a personal blog: www.thebluelighteyes.com. Yell us when it was born, and how long have you spent updating and enriching it.
I started in 2011 by opening my blog www.thebluelighteyes.com, dealing mainly with fashion and lifestyle, publishing my looks and trends season by season.
I have always loved being behind a goal but also the opposite, as I always say if you could split up I would do it! I have a unique vision of images / photography, as for every human being, so I think it is precious to be able to report what we feel and see through photography and to be able to share our emotions with the rest of the world.
I have always loved writing, I started writing poetry and thoughts since the age of 12.
You are originally from Turin, you told us you love it and want to keep your bases here. What is special about Turin and why, despite traveling a lot, did you decide to keep your roots there?
I travel on very specific channels like the vibrations that cities are able to transmit to me. I focus on them along with the lights of the sun that fall at any time of day on their surroundings.
Architecture, Art and social life. These are very important and essential topics for me; onwards I am a person who gets “bored” easily so a city must be able to convey a lot to me despite the fact that it always remains the same!
I am very enthusiastic when brands propose themselves to me in developing projects in my city, Turin, as despite being often in Milan for work, I love to promote it to the fullest and make it known in the world as I consider it full of potential.
Speaking of other cities, which are the Italian and European cities you love most and why.
I love London, Paris, Denmark and its lifestyle and I feel at home when I am in the Netherlands, mainly in Amsterdam.
Talent for Vogue: a dream for many, a special stage. Tell us how this situation was born and what you tell us about your pages. And then we know that you also write for other magazines: tell us what they are and what you write about.
I write for Vogue Italia (Vogue.it) on the beauty side, telling, through my storytelling, the brands and products that then catch my attention.
I also write, yes this year 2021, for Torino Magazine, on the paper and digital side as the unique fashion editor.
Tell us about Silvia and the social networks: what is your relationship with them, how do you express yourself and what is the social network that gives you the best way to tell yourself?
I started my career in this field of work as a Blogger and then found myself working mainly on Instagram where I have more comparison with my fanbase to which in a special way because it is present and very similar to my person, style and attitude.
I have an almost symbiotic relationship with social media as they are my main working channel, I try to carve out spaces for myself in which I can dedicate to myself, my family and to what is real and not digital around me at that moment.
It is not easy but I know that it is right to do it especially for yourself.
What are your typical followers. What do you think they look for in you in terms of emotions, stories and inspirations?
My typical followers are those people who, wandering around the street, look in the shop windows, see a certain model of hat and write to me: “Silvia, today I saw this hat and I thought of you! It’s Silvia’s model!” or that they are able to perceive through my shots the emotions that I need to convey.
Being able to convey my emotions through my shots and my words is what leads me to believe in what I do and how I do it, that is to always show myself.
Sometimes I am asked to meet in order to get to know each other personally, I hope soon to be able to organize small events and / or presentations of my novels so as to be able to carry out these continuous and very pleasant requests.
Silvia and fashion. How was your style born and developed? How would you define it?
The world of fashion has always fascinated me, I have always seen and perceived it as a world of perdition and magic. Since I was a child, I immediately showed my interest, through a naive childish visit in being brought to the spotlight, I have always longed and loved to be the center of attention without being intrusive or arrogant. My grandmother always made me beautiful dresses, she was a very good seamstress.
What are your favorite designers?
Maria Grazia Chiuri for Maison Christian Dior, Fendi, Saint Laurent, Prada, Bottega Veneta and Chanel.
And now the point that for us is the most unique: Silvia as a novelist. This appears to us even more unique and extraordinary. A novel is something complex, constructed. It is not a simple article.
Tell us how the idea of writing ‘Dall’Alto Verso Il Cielo’ (translation: From Above Towards Heaven )was born, how long its gestation was and what your expectations are.
I’ve always been a fairly private person on social media and in my work. Although I consider myself an outgoing person I have always kept the magic of keeping one’s privacy vivid and real. At a certain point, in these various phases of life, I realized that my words, my thoughts and my personal experiences could have reached hidden and more distant ears; I thought that writing might be the key to answering my questions. My major form of expression and communication; so i did.
Dall’Alto Verso Il Cielo is a novel that was not born overnight but has turned over the years until it found its form last year in the middle of a pandemic.
I published my first novel and the world got to know a piece more of me by learning to understand itself a little more. This for me was the greatest gift and satisfaction.
What is the novel about?
Dall’Alto Verso Il Cielo is the story of a young woman, her first 30 years, the awareness that leads to new perspectives of life, outside her comfort zone, in unknown cities, such as London, the discovery of new feelings , a love story and a completely cliché ending, but decisive, indecipherable but full of new possibilities.
Do you see this book as ‘unique’ or would you like to focus on writing in the future, giving life to other, (maybe many!) books?
The career as a writer is a trend that I want to pursue because it helps me to be myself, writing for me is a source of liberation.
I’m writing a second novel .. see you in 2022!
Silvia Caroline: how do you like to imagine yourself in the future, let’s say in 10 years? Established writer, or a multifaceted figure like today?
I hope to find myself traveling, to be able to continuously meet new people and faces, to compare myself and discuss new projects.
I would like to carry on my work as an Influencer, as a novelist but also as an editor for foreign newspapers!
I would like to open up to the world of television, I’m doing it in small steps.
I think that when you reach the peak of work satisfaction, the desire and interest in being able to share everything with a person by your side also comes.
I am also ready and predisposed to the family and I look forward to being able to experience the HERE and NOW of all these possible situations and scenarios.
Thank you very much Silvia for this long chat! And thank you for agreeing to collaborate with us on SHOPenuaer by creating your personal profile … showing your looks … and a personal wishlist!
