The Italian streetwear mecca, Slam Jam and the Japanese clothing brand Needles launch an exclusive collection to be released during Milan design week. The collaboration revolves around a sportswear’s classic, the track suit, reinterpreted exclusively in co-branding. The models are in fact marked with the inscription Slam Jam next to the purple butterfly, trademark of the Japanese brand.
Distinctive features of the pieces are the colored and mismatched stripes, running along the sleeves and the legs. The tones are in contrast, as in a sort of patchwork, in full Needles style. The brand, founded by Keizu Shimizu, is recognized for its “deconstructed” style, inspired by American vintage with military and sporty influences, which are remixed for a distinctive, one-of-a-kind look.
Where and when
To get your hands on this exclusive collection you have to wait until April 19th, when it will be available in the Slam Jam store in Milan. In addition to the physical store, the collection will later be available to purchase online at slamjamsocialism on April 26th.
