Are you ready for the summer? If the answer is, get ready to wear Tom Wood‘s brand new sandals in collaboration with the Japanese brand Suicoke.
The Japanese brand, which had already formed several collaborations with artists such as Nice Kicks, WACKO MARIA, NEIGHBORHOOD, has now decided to start a partnership with the Tom Wood jewelry brand.
The result is a pair of summer sandals for both men and women who have been given a decidedly urban but more sophisticated look. Tom Wood’s minimalist and Scandinavian aesthetic and Suicoke‘s creation of functional and comfortable footwear have resulted in a sandal with a Vibram rubber foam sole, a high-end in soft nappa suede and hardware elements similar to jewelry. While women’s models feature a custom platform and hardware, men’s models have black plating.

With this collection Suicoke offers its classic silhouettes Depa, Cel and Moto and Tom Wood reinterprets them with its minimal aesthetic. The key to the project lies precisely in this perfect fusion of styles, shapes, lines, by two designers who seem to have always collaborated.
If you’re interested, you can take a look at Tom Wood‘s online store and buy a pair for $ 399. The launch of Suicoke, on the other hand, took place yesterday, June 7, at 6pm.
