Pleasures x Guess is the new collaboration for SS21 with a tribute to one of the queens of the 90s, as well iconic Guess girl of the time: the actress Drew Barrymore.
The collection translates into 36 pieces for men and women, with an aesthetic that recalls the 90s of Pleasures and the pop culture of the mid-90s-early 2000s, which inspired Guess. The garments are sporty and casual, with crewneck sweatshirts and archival fabrics of the time.
The lookbook shows us unedited photos of Drew Barrymore in the 1993 campaign, which was very successful, so offering it back to consumers is also an advantage for Nicolai Marciano.
“There has been such an incredible number of people who mention his ’93 campaign when talking about Guess’s most memorable work. In comparison to other legacy models we have worked with in the past, Drew’s career timeframe seemed the perfect unexpected moment of nostalgia to introduce a new generation of Guess fans”, said the Guess co-founder.
The capsule will be on sale in selected Guess stores and on the brand’s website from February 16th.
