THE US BRAND LAUNCHES ACCESSORIES FOR THE NEXT SUMMER IN FLORENCE
Eastpak presents The School of Life. This is the 2020 spring-summer collection of accessories, presented at the latest edition of Pitti Uomo.
The final exams will begin in Italy on Wednesday 19 June. How many times have we dreamed of being rejected? Maybe some of us have been too, because of bad luck or because of studying, we never gave a shit. Verbs like bigiare, jumping lessons, moreover, are the most used in the high school years. And what will it be compared to the teachings of life? It is the message that the brand born in 1952 wants to give, in the form of bags, backpacks and suitcases.
«An irreverent look at those lessons that life forces us to learn. Repenting of that tattoo, not repenting at all for that party at home when parents were on vacation, relationships ended and moments of heavy crisis. Because from every experience we learn something new.» Deepen from Pitti.
LIVE TO HAVE FUN (AND TO FAIL): THE EASTPAK MESSAGE
If a brand like this is able to survive for more than sixty years it is because of every moment, positive and negative, of every experience it has drawn something from it. It certainly also happened to them to miss a backpack or another accessory (to tell the truth rarely given the constant success, also given by recent collaborations). This is why the invitation of the campaign is «to jump and fail, to try and succeed, to love and to lose: what we live gives form to the way we think, act and see the world.»
Our present, therefore, is a school in all respects, with unexpected results. There are no two solutions – rejection and promotion -. We will never take the diploma here, but we are all subscribed.
