The Special Project for Pitti 97 by Telfar stages a contemporary Renaissance where art and performance come together to create a new fashion.

In a historic location, that of Palazzo Corsini, the African-American stylist Telfar Clemens in collaboration with the artistic director of the brand Babak Radboy give life to the AW20 collection.
The show takes place around a circle table, among the remains of what was an ideal Renaissance banquet reminiscent of the Baroque taste.

A more refined collection than that of the previous seasons, with sumptuous and detailed garments: Victorian shirts, wide-leg jeans and slim fit suits in knee-high leather boots, making the models that wore them a sort of knights of the Renaissance, but in a contemporary version 2.0.

Telfar describes a new fashion concept, now more fluid, experimental and agender.
It all started in 2005, the year in which the brand was launched, when Telfar Clemens gave vent to his creative mind inspired by pop culture, the queer aesthetic and sportswear elements of the streets of New York.
The result is a nostalgic aesthetic of a past that is relived through a different fashion language.
