THE YOUNG BRAND FROM MILAN INTRODUCES THE NEW HOLIDAY SHOES MODELS
Finally spring has arrived and even the much desired holidays are approaching. Farewell Footwear knows this and for this reason has created for the Holiday collection, the new boat shoes model to wear during the summer. The brand, founded in 2013 by Giulia Bison, Marta Bagante and Federico Grassi, became famous for having reinterpreted original 1992 espadrilles models, found in the family company, in a contemporary version.
The unisex sailing shoe is made of suede with rope details. Colors are vibrant: red, blue, orange, beige and purple. Together or in solid colors give off the desire to enjoy the sun and the days at sea. Or in the city, given the materials with which the models are made. And in fact, the company also defines the garment as a sneaker, to emphasize the urban aspect. All this, under the motto farewell to boredom, chosen by the three creatives to define the aesthetic line of the project, from the beginning.
EXPERIMENTATION IN THE MADE IN ITALY SIGN
In an interview with Wait! in 2017, the designers told of always looking ahead. Actually, the desire to experiment is another characteristic of the brand. Thus, the new Holiday models go to expand the range, as they themselves had announced two years ago: «Thinking about the concept of farewell to boredom, exploration, travel, remembering the holidays (and the unexpected use of the technical rope) the possibilities are endless (…).»
Also, made in Italy is the constant element that links every creation of Farewell Footwear. As for the last ones born, but also for the NSWE models «the quality is therefore artisanal and controlled directly by us of the team», they said. In addition, they do not give up on finding particular materials, such as, again, the technical rope.
