OFF-White: always an extra gear. And even if the brand has streetwear in its DNA, from luxury, which it now to, it collects the custom of presenting the Cruise collection.
Here it is. Not at all banal, and able to always hit its audience with new ideas, in a collection that declines Virgil’s inspirations in a broad and coherent manner.
The themes are those of ‘hand painted’, where lots of garments, especially denim, appear hand painted, so much so that they often take on a completely all-over look. To this decidedly hand-made and re-worked imprint, typical of the style, or better, of Off-White’s philosophy there are other types of all-over patterns based on some tie-dye, in others with prints of monochromatic all-over landscapes.
The collection is then literally illuminated by some colorful pieces, almost flashaved in green and fuchsia colors.
The shots of the new Cruise were made in a highly suggestive environment, in full nature, surrounded by a backdrop of mountains and waterfalls that literally “frame” the garments and underline the natural tones of green and blue that prevail in the collection .
