When the sacred and the profane come together, things never seen before can born !!!
What happened with the new Nike x MSCHF collaboration is a real miracle !!!

The project is inspired by the miracle of Jesus walking on the water, (for the most atheists, to a legend) told in Matthew 14.25 “Towards the end of the night he came towards them walking on the sea.” Number that appears on the tip of Sneakers.
The Air unit of the MSCHF x INRI Air Max 97 was specially filled with 60 cc of water from the Jordan River, a sacred place where Jesus would have been baptized.
The idea of being able to walk on water and strong references to the ecclesiastical world are completed by the finishing touches and details, such as the calls of red on the tongue, which recalls the color of the clothes and shoes of the cardinals in the Vatican as well as the sole, perfumed with smell of incense. The steel crucifix on the laces is another strong element that refers to the Vatican, where surely the luxury and the jewels within the curia are never lacking.

Apparently the box, more unique than rare, if we consider that MSCHF has put into production only 15 pieces of this article, with a Retail price of € 1293, presents the modified papal seal, together with the winged figure of the “Melancholia ”, Engraving of 1514 by the German artist Albert Dürer.

The thought of a God 2.0 walking on the water wearing a pair of Air Max 97 Total White, wearing an Off White tunic, is what each of us, I think, imagined after “the mink” of this Sneakers.
Needless to say that the article went SOLD OUT in just one minute on the site created specifically by MSCHF (//jesus.shoes/ , if you want to add this “DIVINA” Sneaker to your collection you can check the stockx.com website for the availability of your size, of course forget the retail price.
