Release date, price and where to find the new Nike “Denim Gum”.
While the details of the complete pack of Nike “Sashiko” have not yet been revealed, the release of one of the sneakers, the SB Dunk Low, is scheduled for European exclusivity on August 1st. The collection, which also includes the Kyrie S2 Hybrid and SB Blazer Mid models, is inspired by a complex Japanese embroidery technique dating back to the early 1600s: the “Sashiko” one.
In the SB Dunk Low model, this practice can be found in the white stitching that appears clearly visible along with the two-tone silhouette in denim and suede, and in the incomplete lateral Swooshes always made with contrast stitching. The sneaker is completed by a white midsole and a rubber outsole, from which the model name, “Denim Gum“, also derives.
The sneaker price is set for € 100 at selected retailers such as Sneakersnstuff.
