New Vintage . An oxymoron. Two terms and seemingly irreconcilable opposites. But no. Who has managed to bring together two words consistently so far has a name.
There is a brand right now that is something unique and valuable. And it has become a MUST. While all throw themselves to follow the latest trends , VV bY Kidz, the brand designed and created by artisans in Tuscany, continues its aims to design a collection , a world , consistent and increasingly recognizable.
Without following any trend Augusto Titoni , designer and founder of the brand, has ‘ invented ‘ the new- vintage made in Italy.
What does this name mean ? It means creating garments ‘ old ‘ flavor, for taste and also quality . Clothes that seem to come out of the closet of our parents after a trip to America when they were young, or our grandparents ( grandparents very stylish to tell the truth! )
On the one hand there are t -shirts and sweatshirts , recovering and playing with the figures of comic books and POP imaginary , or drawings made by Augusto to the chassis manual , as it was once .
Drawings seem almost made one at a time directly on the jersey . And do not go far given the short-run production .
Then there are the tailoring : all designed by Augusto, where his talent and stylistic research of materials are expressed at the highest levels .
A sample that plays in the balance between a ‘ gentleman ‘ old school , and a modern sailor . Chabby chic style for a man apparently ‘ rude ‘ but very much aware of his charm.
