Off-White™ changes logo!
The news is revealed by the designer Virgil Abloh on his Instagram account.
Since the beginning Off-White™ has always stood out for its more graphic and verbal vocation: the two divergent directional arrows that until now have been the background for Abloh‘s brand, despite their minimalist imprint, have always stood out in the scenario streetwear thanks to their bold visual impact.
Today the graphic soul evolves, turning into a “comic”: the new Off-White™ logo in fact, looks like a stencil composed of two hands positioned under the words “Off” and “White™” in a serif font and a face which takes the place of the old dash. These are the new elements that give life to an updated identity and outline a different aspect than the previous logo that we all know.
To better represent this change, the designer has chosen to put the new logo on a basic black T-shirt called “NEW LOGO T-SHIRT”.

Does the brand want to take a new stylistic path?
The reasons for this change are not entirely clear, but it was also made official by the presentation video of the last show for the SS20 collection on the occasion of the “Meteor Strike” show during Paris Fashion Week.
Certainly, despite the restyling, Off-White™ would seem not to want to give up its strong basic dualism that plays between the minimal and the aesthetic of impact.
