Massimo Giorgetti collaborates with the horror master Dario Argento in an AW 20 collection with a noir soul.

Surprise of this Milan Fashion Week is the meeting between MSGM and the dark – and ironic – side of the director, in an unexpected exchange from which “Haunted” is born, opening the curtain to a collection with a mysterious and dark aesthetic.
Between smoke and red lights the journey begins in an elegant world saturated with colors such as red (in homage to ‘Profondo Rosso‘), black, fuchsia, magenta and brown on shapes inspired by the 70s.
“Beautiful things can be scary” so MSGM offers a series of looks with darker connotations for the evening, experimenting with fabrics with spots of color and aged dye.

Giorgetti successfully incorporates streetwear and tailoring elements through a selection of down jackets, velvet suits, jacquard jackets without neglecting accessories such as leather gloves, metallic boots and silk scarves, maintaining the collection both refined and punk. In his most obvious tribute to the director, the designer printed some of his t-shirts, pullovers and shirts with a variety of the most iconic film frames.

We can say for sure that the well-known brand managed to show the most ironic, dark and fascinating essence of Argento’s imagination, giving Milan what it most desired: a good dose of irreverent creativity.
